Sub-originators

Individual members (brokers) of Originator companies who submit consumer loan applications.

Originator State Managers:
  • are responsible for one or more groups of sub-originators
  • can view details of applications submitted by sub-originators that they manage
Originator National Managers:
  • manage the Originator company in Australia
  • can view details of applications submitted by sub-originators in their Originator company in Australia
Authorised ANZ staff can:
  • access the Application Tracking system
  • view details of applications submitted by any ANZ sub-originator in Australia
Application Status

If the application has the status of...

then the application...

Approved

Has been approved by ANZ.

Approved in Principle

Has been approved by ANZ but not yet identified a particular property.

Approved Subject To

Has been approved subject to conditions being met. The application will not proceed until the conditions have been satisfied. (Approved Subject To conditions displayed apply to the application, not to the individual applicant).

Credit Checking/Information verification in progress

Credit bureau checking is in progress. Customer details are being validated.

Declined

Loan application has been declined.

Referred for manual assessment

Has failed to meet the policy guidelines and been referred to a manual underwriter to make a decision on the application.

Forwarded for Mortgage Insurance

Has failed to meet the Mortgage Insurance policy guidelines (Delegated Underwriting Authority) and has been referred to manual mortgage insurance to make a decision on the application.

Settled

Disbursement details have been recorded and the loan has been drawn down.

Withdrawn/Cancelled

Has been withdrawn/cancelled by the customer.


Using the calendar

You can select dates up to 365 days prior to today's date.

    Today's date is 5 May 2001. 365 days prior to today's date would be 4 May 2000. Even though the full month of May 2000 is displayed, you can only select a date on or after 4 May 2000. If you tried to select a date prior to 4 May 2000, the system would display the message:

"Invalid date. Date entered must be within 12 months from yesterday’s date."

  The calendar displays.

2.    Select the month from the drop down list of months.

3.   Select the year from the drop down list of years.

4.    Select the required date from those displayed.

  The calendar closes and the date is entered in the field.

 If you do not select a date within 365 days calculated from yesterday's date, the message "Invalid date. Date entered must be within 12 months from yesterday’s date" will be displayed.


Combining Customised Search criteria

Complete one or more of the following fields. If you complete more than one field, an application will not be displayed unless it meets all search criteria.

Application Number field

Entering the customer's complete loan application number in the field.

Customer Name field

Entering one or more letters in the field.

The system searches the customer names for your entry. All matching names are displayed in alphabetical order.

  A search on bre would match with Brenda Blair, Mark Allen-Brent and Rona Balabre.

Application Status field

1.   Selecting the application status from the drop down list.

2.   Using the calendar to complete the From: and To: fields if the status is any of the following:

-       Approval Date,

-       Application Received Date,

-       Settlement Date,

-       Declined Date or

-       Withdrawn Date.

  The From: date must be an earlier date than the To: date.

Loan Total Amount Sought ($) field

1.   Selecting the required operator (EQUAL TO, GREATER THAN or LESS THAN) from the drop down list.

2.   Entering the total amount of all products on the loan application in the field.

Loan Product field

Selecting a loan product from the drop down list.

Suburb/City field

Entering one or more letters in the field.

  A search on glen would match with Glen Iris, Atholl Glen and Glenorchy.

State field

Selecting the state from the drop down list.

Postcode field

Entering the complete postcode in the field.

Sub-Originator ID field

Entering the complete sub-originator's ID in the field.

Sub-Originator Name field

Entering one or more letters in the field.

The system searches the sub-originator names for your entry. All matching names are displayed in alphabetical order.

  A search on chr would match with Chris Bunting and Mary Christos.

Sub-Originator State field

Selecting the state from the drop down list.

  Only the state(s) to which you have access are displayed in the drop down list.

   In addition to the above, authorised ANZ staff can search by:

--     Originator ID (number allocated to the originator company),

--     Originator Name (name of the originator company),and

--     Business Channel (channel through which the application was made).
