GENERAL

  1. What is the Online Application Tracking system?
    • Online enquiries system available on the ANZ Originator web site
    • It allows ANZ Originators to view the status of loan applications that they have submitted to ANZ
    • Provide flexible ways of locating particular applications via both pre-defined Quick Searches and Customised Searches
  2. Will one broker be able to access details on applications submitted by other brokers?
    • Generally no. Most brokers will only be able to view details on applications submitted by themselves
    • Brokers will only be able to view details on applications submitted by other brokers if:
      • They are Third Party Originator State Managers (applicable to Australian users only)
      • They are Third Party Originator National Managers or the Principle of an ANZ Third Party Mortgage Originator company
  3. Is the information displayed up-to-the-minute?
    • Depending on the type of search conducted, information can be current up-to-the-minute or as at the close of the previous business day. The system will advise you if information is not current.
    • Information is accurate as of close of business the previous night (ie. does not include today's transactions) if the following statement is displayed on the screen:

      "Results displayed only include data entered into ANZ's Mortgage Originator system to the close of the previous business day. Information on loan applications is only current up until the Settlement Date."

    • Information is up-to-the-minute if the following disclaimer is displayed.

      "Results displayed will reflect data as it is entered into ANZ's Mortgage Originator system. Where access is during a non-business day, the data displayed is as at the close of the last business day. Information on loan applications is only current up until the Settlement Date."

      The following table lists the currency of different types of information.

  4. An application has been submitted but it does not appear on the Application Tracking system. Why?
    • The application has not yet been entered into ANZ's Mortgage Originator Solution (MOS) system
    • The application was/ is being processed via alternate ANZ systems to the MOS system that the online Application Tracking system retrieves its data from.
    • Applications processed via alternate ANZ systems, which will not be available via online Application Tracking, are those with 9-digit Application numbers that do NOT begin with the digit, 5.
    • Some of these applications include:

      • The applicant is a company or trust (eg. LAQC's)
      • The product requires lockrates
      • The product is an Equity Manager (relevant to Australia only), Smart Options (relevant to Australia only) or Flexiplus (relevant to NZ only) where lending is above 80%
      • Multi-State stamping is required (relevant to Australia only)
      • Interest-in-advance loans (relevant to Australia only)
      • Top-up to existing loans
  5. Why does the Online Application Tracking system say that an application has been "Withdrawn" when the customer has not requested this?
    • The Bank may withdraw some applications during processing to be assessed through an alternate ANZ system.

APPLICATION TRACKING MAIN PAGE

  1. What is a Quick Search?
    • A pre-defined query
    • Used to locate a particular group of applications
    • For example: All Applications Submitted - Today, Approved Applications - Today etc.
  2. How do you conduct a Quick Search?
    • Select the relevant Quick Search option from:
      • Application Tracking Main Page OR
      • Online Application Tracking Left Navigation bar (after selecting the "Quick Search" option)
  3. For each Quick Search option, which applications are displayed?

    Previous 12 months

    Applications displayed will be those that were:

    • Approved (for Approved Applications)
    • Settled (for Settled Applications)
    • Declined or Withdrawn (for Declined/Withdrawn Applications) over the previous year up to close of business yesterday

    For example, if today's date is 12/8/01, applications displayed will be applications that were:

    • Approved (for Approved Applications) from 11/8/00 to 11/8/01
    • Settled (for Settled Applications) from 11/8/00 to 11/8/01
    • Declined or Withdrawn (for Declined/Withdrawn Applications) from 11/8/00 to 11/8/01.


CUSTOMISED SEARCH

  1. What is a Customised Search?
    • User-defined search
    • Used to narrow down the applications that is to be displayed
    • Used to locate a particular application or group of applications
  2. How do you conduct a Customised Search?
    • Select:
      • "Customised Search" from Online Application Tracking Left Navigation bar OR
      • "Specify your own search criteria" from Application Tracking Main Page
    • Specify the value (by entering in or selecting from the drop down list) of one or more search criteria which you wish the application you are looking for to match
    • Click on the "find" button.
  3. For each Customised Search criteria, which applications are displayed?
  4. Business Channel(ANZ staff members only.This search criteria is not available for use by Originators)

    Applications displayed will be those that were submitted through the Business Channel selected.

  5. Which applications are displayed when more than one search criteria is specified?
    • Applications that match all the search criteria values specified.

      eg. If the user enters "Bob" in the Customer Name edit box and "Hamilton" in the Customer Address - Suburb/City edit box, only applications, which have "Bob" in the Customer Name AND were submitted by customers with (security, statement or residential) address in the suburb/city of "Hamilton" should be displayed.
  6. What does each Application Status mean?
  7. Withdrawn

    Applications that has been withdrawn/cancelled by the customer.

    Note: Some applications may be withdrawn by the Bank during processing to be assessed through an alternate system.


SEARCH RESULTS SUMMARY

  1. What information is displayed on the Search Results Summary page?
    • The Search Results Summary page lists applications corresponding to the pre-defined Quick Search conditions or Customised Search criteria specified.

      Depending on the particular Quick Search option or Customised Search criteria used to conduct the search, different information is displayed.

      The following table describes information displayed on this page.
    • Sub-Originator Name

      Name of the sub-originator who submitted the application

  2. Why do the same rows appear several times in the Search Results Summary table?
    • There is more than one instance of:
      • Customer
      • Purpose
      • Product or
      • Security contained within that particular application.

APPLICATION DETAILS REPORT

  1. What information is displayed on the Application Details Report?
  2. Security Address

    Address of the security being offered

  3. How is information displayed if the application consists of more than one customer, purpose, product and security?
    • For applications that consists of multiple customers or purposes, products and securities, the Application Details Report will display:
    • One set of application details (ie. Application Received Date, Date if Approval etc);
    • One set of customer details for each applicant in the application;
    • One set of product details (ie. Product type, Statement Address, Amount Sought, Loan Term, Loan Amount) for each product used for each purpose within the application;
    • One set of security details (ie. Security Type, Address & Value) for each security used to secure a product.

SYSTEM USAGE REPORT

  1. Application Tracking usage can be monitored. Whose system usage details can each user monitor?
  2. ANZ staff members

    The system usage details of all third party system users

  3. What information is displayed on the System Usage Report?
  4. No. of Times logged on within last 12 months

    The number of times the sub-originator has logged on to the Application Tracking system over the past 12 months.
