Overview
Two types of searches

The Application Tracking System offers you two types of searches:

  • Quick Search, and
  • Customised Search.

Quick Searches use queries that have been predefined by the system, such as searching for all applications that were submitted today.

The Customised Search enables you to specify particular search criteria, such as searching for a particular customer's loan application.

Data retrieved

All application records/data will be retrieved directly from ANZ's mortgage origination database. Depending on the criteria used in the search, retrieved information will generally be:

  • Current (up-to-the-minute), or
  • As at close of business the previous business day.

For example, a search on:

  • All Applications Submitted today, generally retrieves information that is current
  • All Applications Submitted (Excluding today), retrieves information that was entered as at close of business the previous business day.

The system will advise you if information is not current. The following table lists the currency of different types of information.

All other Declined/Withdrawn Applications

Under certain circumstances, the application information will not be available via this system. These circumstances are where:

  • The application is for non-individual entities (e.g the applicant is a company or trust)
  • Interest Advance Products (relevant to Australia only)
  • Products requiring lockrates
  • Applications for Equity Manager (relevant to Australia only), Smart Options (relevant to Australia only) or Flexiplus (relevant to NZ only) products where lending is greater than 80%
  • Applications where multi-State stamping is required (relevant to Australia only)
  • Applications for Interest-in-advance loans (relevant to Australia only)
  • The application has not been entered into ANZ's Mortgage Originator system.

Performing a Quick Search

The Quick Search enables you to search for :

  • Applications received by ANZ within a certain period.
  • Applications by Application Status (all applications in progress or Approved, Settled and Declined/Withdrawn for a particular time period).

You can perform a Quick Search directly from the left hand navigation bar or the Application Tracking Main Page.

  1. Select your Quick Search query from the left hand navigation bar or the Application Tracking Main Page.

    Declined or withdrawn applications

    If the specific periods for declined or withdrawn applications are not already displayed, select 'Declined/Withdrawn Applications'. Then, select the specific period you want to search for declined or withdrawn applications.

    The Search Results Summary page displays all matching applications (that you are authorised to view). Use the navigation buttons to scroll through the applications, if required.

    If you are using Internet Explorer 5.0 or above, the records displayed in the 'Search Results Summary' will be sorted on default by the fields specified in the following table.

  2. Select the application number of the application whose details you want to view.
    The Application Details page displays.
  3. Select any of the following:
    • 'Application Details' to display the details of the application
    • 'Customer Details' to display the customer's details
    • 'Product & Security Details' to display details of the loan product(s) and the security item(s) used to secure the loan.

Performing a Customised Search

You can perform a Customised Search to:

  • List all applications
  • Search for a particular application by Application Number
  • List applications according to a combination of one or more search criteria.

Your access determines the search criteria available to you. You can select  Clear  to clear the search fields at any time.

Please note: Equity Manager, Smart Options (relevant to Australia only) or Flexiplus (relevant to NZ only) products cannot be found using the "Settled" application status option. To view details on these applications, please conduct a Customised search using another search criteria eg. Application Number.

  1. Select Customised Search from the left navigation bar or the Application Tracking Main Page.
    The Customised Search page will be displayed.

  2. Use the following table to set your search criteria.

    Complete the required search criteria .



  3. Select Search.
    The Search Results Summary page displays all matching applications (that you are authorised to view). Use the navigation buttons to scroll through the applications, if required.
     If you are using Internet Explorer 5.0 and above, the records displayed in the 'Search Results Summary' will be sorted on default by Application Number.

  4. Select the application number of the application whose details you want to view.
    The Application Details page displays.

  5. Select any of the following:
    • 'Application Details' to display the details of the application
